Have 2001 Savage - 4800 miles. Problem is when it runs fine it's a perfect bike. Other times it will be running fine, then sometimes bucks first and then loses power until it stalls. Or I will pull in the clutch to stop or downshift and it just stalls. I have to roll it off the side of the road and wait. It won't start again until I've sat there for about 10 minutes. Then it starts fine and runs for a while perfectly until the whole thing starts all over again. Have had it worked on by several dealers. They change the plug or make a minor adjustment like idle speed and tell me the bike is fine. I try to ride it and the stalling starts again. My last ride I got stranded on the side of the road and had to have it towed home. Does anyone have any ideas about what the problem is? I love the bike but at this point it's not reliable enough to take out. I can't seem to find a good mechanic who knows what to do. Please help.
